A mainland developer is seeking to build a new condo hotel tower in Waikiki at the corner of Kuhio Avenue and Kalaimoku Street.? The California developer, Pacrep LLC,? is planning on a 34 story, 459-unit tower located at 2121 Kuhio Avenue.? The 3.3 acre site is the former location of Hula?s Bar & Lei Stand and Pacrep LLC purchase the parcel earlier this year for $15.5 million.? The proposal submitted for the new Waikiki condo outlines the details of the projected $375 million new Honolulu development.? They are still going through the environment assessment , but do outline that the project could offer approximately 475 construction jobs.
