Dubbed as Hawa, the new folding screen?s design is a nod to the wind of sands which shape its rangy forms. The design of the screen converges oriental influences with contemporary form. The screen filters the light through the panels. It is available in two sizes of one module size, whose dimensions are H 180 cm ? L 63 cm ? P 7.5 cm; and four module size, the dimensions of which are H 180 cm ? L 252 cm ? P 7.5 cm. The products is also available in two colour combinations of dark blue, azure blue and sky blue; and black, brick red, azure blue and turquoise.
The new lighting has been named Nour suspension lamp, which is noted for its geometrical shape. The lamp is 39cm long and has a diameter of 22cm. The product is available in two colour variants of dark blue and brick red.
The Ahlan seating reflects the values of the Middle East hospitality. The designer has used beech wood to design the structure of the seat and covered it with foam pad. It has a dimension of L 170 cm x P 70 x H 80 cm. Ahlan is available in two colour combinations of dark blue-outside, azure blue- cushions and sky blue seat; and kaki outsite, and yellow earth back rest and seat.
Charles Kalpakian?s design has three roots: France, Lebanon and the culture of Street Art. These influences are evident in the reinterpretation of certain motifs from the history of decorative arts (such as French marquetry), and iconic motifs from Lebanese history and geography (such as Lebanese cedar wood), filtered by urban and contemporary culture.
